משנה: שְׁתֵּי חֲצֵירוֹת זוֹ לִפְנִים מִזּוֹ עֵירְבָה הַפְּנִימִית וְלֹא עֵיִרְבָה הַחִיצוֹנָה הַפְּנִימִית מוּתֶּרֶת וְהַחִיצוֹנָה אֲסוּרָה. הַחִיצוֹנָה וְלֹא הַפְּנִימִית שְׁתֵּיהֶן אֲסוּרוֹת. עֵירְבָה זוֹ לְעַצְמָהּ וְזוֹ לְעַצְמָהּ זוֹ מוּתֶּרֶת בִּפְנֵי עַצְמָהּ וְזוֹ מוּתֶּרֶת בִּפְנֵי עַצְמָהּ. רִבִּי עֲקִיבָה אוֹסֵר אֶת הַחִיצוֹנָה שֶׁדְּרִיסַת הָרֶגֶל אוֹסְרַתָּהּ. וַחֲכָמִים אוֹמְרִים אֵין דְּרִיסַת הָרֶגֶל אוֹסֶרֶת:
MISHNAH: Two courtyards, one inside the other. If for the inner one they made an eruv but not the outer one, the inner one is permitted and the outer one forbidden. If the outer one but not the inner one, both are forbidden. If both made separate eruvin, both are permitted separately; Rebbi Aqiba forbids the outer one since the right of access makes it forbidden but the Sages say the right of access does not make it forbidden.
