prathaś ca yasya saprathaś ca nāmānuṣṭubhasya haviṣo havir yat dhātur dyutānāt savituś ca viṣṇo rathantaram ā jabhārā vasiṣṭhaḥ
Vasishtha mastered the Rathantara, took it from radiant Dhatar, Savitar, and Vishnu, Oblation, portion of fourfold oblation, known by the names of Saprathas and Prathas.
avindan te atihitaṃ yad āsīd yajñasya dhāma paramaṃ guhā yat dhātur dyutānāt savituś ca viṣṇor bharadvājo bṛhad ā cakre agneḥ
These sages found what lay remote and hidden, the sacrifice's loftiest secret essence. From radiant Dhatar, Savitar, and Vishnu, from Agni, Bharadvaja brought the Brihat.
te 'vindan manasā dīdhyānā yaju ṣkannam prathamaṃ devayānam dhātur dyutānāt savituś ca viṣṇor ā sūryād abharan gharmam ete
They found with mental eyes the earliest Yajus, a pathway to the Gods, that had descended. From radiant Dhitar, Savitar, and Vishnu, from Surya did these sages bring the Gharma.
