About fifteen years after the battle of Kadesh, Hattusili III of Hatti and Ramesses II of Egypt swore a treaty of peace and mutual defence. The Egyptian copy at Karnak describes the seals on the lost silver tablet: the Storm God embracing the king on one face and, on the other, the Sun Goddess of Arinna embracing Queen Puduhepa, a queen from Kizzuwatna whose own prayers to the goddess survive.
